Distinctly strong and pungent fenugreek flavour recalls the aromas of oriental spices. Fenugreek is one of the main ingredients in curry spice blend. Germination is fast and the shoots can be eaten after 3-4 days or before the first leaves appear. Due to their ability to promote digestion, they are excellent consumed with other species such as alfalfa and clover. They have different flavours when grown in direct or indirect light.
Soak in water for minimum 8 hours. Rinse them and arrange on the appropriate surface like sprouter tray or sprouting jar allowing seed to increase their volume at least 4 times. Germination takes between 3 to 4 days after wihich they can be consumed immediately or stored in the refrigerator for 1-2 weeks.
