Garlic chives sprouts are very easy to digest thanks to the presence of chlorophyll which is produced in the germination phase. The first shoots appear after one week and complete germination occurs after about 2 weeks. To facilitate and accelerate the growth it is advisable to place the seeds in a warm place during soaking period and in the first two days of germination.
Soak in water for 8 hours. Rinse them and arrange on the appropriate surface like sprouter tray or sprouting jar allowing seed to increase their volume at least 4 times. Germination takes between 10 to 14 days after wihich sprouts can be consumed immediately or stored in the refrigerator for 1-2 weeks.
