Just like guar and xanthan gum, carob seed flour (locust bean gum) is often used as a natural thickening agent in baked and cooked goods.

Biovegan locust bean gum from certified organic agriculture is an excellent thickener for your warm dishes.

Carob seed flour from controlled organic agriculture

Suggested use:

For easy binding, use 2g (approx. 1/2 teaspoon) per 250 ml of liquid. To thicken desserts, use 6g (approx. 1 1/2 teaspoons) per 250 ml. After dosing, add a little cold liquid, blend with the rest of the recipe and bring to the boil.
