Gunpowder Green Tea - Organic 50g Nutrigold

Nutrigold gunpowder green tea is a premium, first-class green tea from China, where it has been used for centuries for its stimulating and uplifting effects. In comparison with other types of green tea, gunpowder tea has the highest proportion of theine and is, therefore, an ideal source of energy.

The production of gunpowder tea is also specific. The leaves are rolled into the shape of little pinhead pellets resembling gunpowder, hence the name. Rolling renders the leaves less subject to physical damage and allows them to retain more of their flavour, aroma and nutritional value.

The strong, bitter and dominant taste, as well as the deep yellow colour, is what sets gunpowder apart from other teas. Add a touch of lemon juice and honey to enjoy a slightly softer brew of this powerful stimulant.

Suggested use:

Add one teaspoon to a cup. Infuse with hot water (75-80°C) for 1 to 3 minutes and strain.
