Jasmine rice is long grain rice native to Thailand, highly prized for its flowery aroma and sweet flavour. Since it releases fragrant aromas characteristic of the jasmine flower while being cooked, it is not hard to guess where the name comes from.

Suggested use:

Bring water to a boil and add rice in a 2:1 ratio. Cook for about 12 to 15 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside for 5 minutes before serving.
