Oolong Tea - 35g Nutrigold

Oolong, also known as wu-long tea (wu- black, long- dragon) is considered to be one of the healthiest types of tea. Most often cultivated in China and Taiwan, this semi-fermented tea is obtained from the tea plant Camellia Sinensis and was traditionally used in Chinese medicine for:

• metabolism boosting
• reducing skin irritations
• body temperature regulation

Nutrigold Oolong tea contains only the finest leaves, dried and semi-fermented in a strictly controlled environment. Producing tea in that way, bitterness and robust grassy flavours are reduced ensuring a well-balanced aroma of Oolong tea. This semi-fermented tea is traditionally placed in the category between unfermented green and fully fermented black tea. The fermentation percentage of this Chinese tea may vary between 8% and 70%. 

The elegant flavour of this Nutrigold Oolong tea is enriched with luxurious flowery aromas reminiscent of mild fruit teas, while specific golden brown colour gives him the name of ''golden tea''. Having a milder flavour profile than black tea, Oolong tea is suitable for everyday consumption.

Like any other tea obtained from the Camellia Sinensis plant, Oolong tea contains a certain amount of theine (caffeine in tea). Unlike coffee caffeine, thein has an energizing, long-lasting effect with slower releasing.

Suggested use:

Add one teaspoon to a cup. Infuse with hot water (80° to 90°C) for 2 to 3 minutes and strain.
