Mix psyllium husks with yoghurt, water or juice and consume immediately. In contact with liquid, psyllium will expand and swell, therefore it is advisable to drink an additional glass of water or any liquid immediately after and increase fluid intake throughout the day. Psyllium husks are naturally without gluten, and as such often used in recipes for bread, pastries, baked goods and eggless cakes or as a thickener in soups and sauces.
