Homemade pumpkin doughnuts? Easier than you think!

At this time of the year, desserts can't go by without a pumpkin, but this time, the fundamental autumn ingredient - pumpkin, is ready to rise and shine in an entirely new light!

As a result of our collaboration with yumyum, this is everything but a typical dessert that you should definitely try.

How about pumpkin doughnuts? Moreover, homemade pumpkin doughnuts are easy to make with only a few ingredients required.

Various pumpkins or squashes, and especially purees from these healthy foods have a wide application in dessert making. For instance, bundt cake, strudel, panna cotta, tiramisu or cheesecake can be prepared. We have decided to try something different - doughnuts. An aromatic fragrant fantasy that may not be your cup of tea, but for those who like it at first, we predict eternal autumn love.

Instructions:

  1. Mix dry and wet ingredients in two separate bowls, and gently fold in with a whisk.
  2. Transfer the mixture to a doughnut mould and bake for about 10 minutes at 180 degrees.
  3. If desired, prepare the glaze by heating 150g of sugar, 50ml of milk, 20g of butter, a pinch of salt and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract, then dip each doughnut in the glaze and sprinkle with chopped nuts.
