Almonds (Lat. Prunus amygdalus) belong to the rose family and have an edible fruit core or kernel. They originate from the Middle East where they have been popular since ancient times, and later they spread to the Mediterranean and are also grown in coastal Croatia.

Almonds have a lot more protein compared to other nuts, so they are a great and healthy snack during the diet. What makes almonds so popular is their excellent nutritional value. They are a natural source of proteins and fats.

Nutrigold almonds are from organic farming and are of 100% proven quality. They are suitable for vegans, vegetarians and people with celiac disease, they also do not contain lactose.

Suggested use:

As a snack or use as an extra crunch and flavour to yoghurt or smoothies. Add them to overnight oats, or try to make homemade granola bars, almond milk or even crunchy or creamy almond butter.
