Ayurvedic plant Amla is used for hair care and regeneration. It works by strengthening the hair root and increasing the circulation of the scalp, making the hair soft and smooth to the touch, giving it a rich shine. Due to its antioxidant properties, hair becomes more resistant and stronger.
Amla provides an instant feeling of freshness and helps fight itching, dryness and tightness of the scalp skin by giving instant relief.
Suggested use:
Mix 100g of Amla in 300ml of warm water and let sit for about 15 minutes. Apply in sections, starting from the back, moving towards the scalp itself. Gather the hair and wrap it in plastic foil. Leave on hair for an hour.
Use 100g of powder for shoulder-length hair or 200g for hair longer than that.
Due to the high content of tannins, it is an excellent fixative for indigo and is added to a mixture of henna and indigo for a brown color without red glare.
