Brown millet flour: Versatile and gluten-free!
Brown millet flour is obtained by milling organically grown whole millet and is most commonly used in cooking, often mixed with regular flour.
It is excellent for making porridges, puddings, purees, and as an addition in cooking. It is essential for preparing egg-free cakes due to its exceptional binding properties. It is a great supplement to other types of flour (up to 20%) in bread production, as it is not sufficient on its own for making high-quality bread.
Millet proteins contain essential amino acids: arginine, lysine, histidine, tyrosine, cystine, and tryptophan.
Bauck Mühle organic brown millet flour is gluten-free, making it ideal for a gluten-free kitchen.
