Henna natural mask and hair dye in a firm paper packaging of 100g

Henna (Lawsonia inermis) is a plant which grows in the region of Africa and Asia. In Egypt, it was used 5000 years ago for hair care and as a hair dye. The leaves are first dried and then ground into powder or fine dust.

Ajurveda recommends henna as a harmless and effective softening, strengthening and regenerating hair product. Henna naturally strengthens hair, nourishes the root, covers grain hair, removes dandruff and cleanses the scalp. And with one important advantage - no harmful side effects.

Suggested use:

Mix the powder with water until you get a mixture density of yoghurt. If you want to get a completely dark, naturally deep red, add lemon juice in the mixture. After mixing, cover the mixture with foil and allow to stand overnight at room temperature or minimum for 2 hours at 35°C. The longer the process, the more colour will be released.
Do not mix the henna with boiling water because you will get a yellowish-orange colour.
Apply it on the hair in sections. Start your way from the back of your head and rub it up to the scalp in one thick layer. Then collect and wrap your hair in a plastic foil and wash your skin with water. By doing so, henna will remain warm and damp, and the hair will absorb more colour. After finishing, leave to sit on hair for 2-4 hours.
For short hair use 100g, and for longer hair 200g or more depending on the desired effect.

The use of gloves is recommended during application as the mixture leaves colour on the skin.
