Terrasana Mugi Miso - The perfect blend of all five tastes: salty, sweet, bitter, sour, and umami!
Mugi Miso with barley is a salty Japanese seasoning produced through traditional Japanese fermentation techniques over 12 months from soybeans and barley grains.
Since it is not exposed to high temperatures, the unpasteurized miso contains more enzymes.
It has a salty and pleasant flavor, making it ideal for seasoning soups (famous miso soup), stews, seaweed-based dishes, vegetables, and various dressings.
When preparing soups, it's important to add the miso at the end, diluted in a little water, once the vegetables are already cooked. The soup should not be brought to a boil again, as this will destroy the valuable ingredients in the miso. One tablespoon is sufficient for approximately 300ml of soup.
