Black Beans - Organic 500g Nutrigold

Your stews are not appearing to be hearty as they are supposed to be? Have you ever used black beans?

One of the most famous pulses in the world was introduced to Europe in the early 16th century when it was imported from the Americas together with potatoes and corn with which it still makes excellent combinations, as well as with many other ingredients.

Nutrigold black beans are an indispensable ingredient if you want to prepare nutritious soup or stew. 

Mixed with rice, it creates a hearty, substantial meal characterized by high energy value. For more aromatic flavours, you can add spicy herbs such as rosemary, thyme and oregano while if you are looking for a more spicy taste a touch of garlic and pepper will work just fine.

Whether in stews or salads, this valuable food from the legume family should always find a place on your menu!

Suggested use:

Soak 6 to 8 hours before cooking, preferably overnight. Rinse and place in a large pot. Cover with fresh water and bring to a boil and cook for 3 minutes. Reduce heat and simmer covered for 60 minutes or until tender.
