Erythritol is a sugar alcohol, used as a food additive and sugar substitute which is made by corn sugar fermentation.

Some of its features:

• sweetness preserved up to 160°C 
• 60 to 80% of the sweetness of sugar
• without aftertaste
• cooling effect and sweet flavour

Despite being an excellent substitute for traditionally used table sugar, erythritol can't be caramelized nor used for making bread with yeast.

Suggested use:

Gram per kilogram of an adult person is recommended daily intake. Recommended daily dosage should not be exceeded since it may cause digestive upsets.

Warning:

An adaptation process of 2-3 weeks is recommended. For intolerant people and children, it may cause diarrhoea.
May contain traces of gluten (from spelt and oats), sesame, peanuts and nuts.
