Jasmine rice is long grain rice native to Thailand. Highly prized for its flowery aroma and sweet flavour. Since it releases fragrant aromas characteristic to jasmine flower while being cooked, it is not hard to guess where the name comes from. Jasmine Rice is sometimes suggested as an alternative to basmati rice.
Bring water to a boil and add rice in 2:1 ratio. Cook for about 12 to 15 minutes. Remove from heat and let sit for 5 minutes before serving.
May contain traces of gluten, sesame, peanuts and other nuts.
Store in a dry, cool and dark place.
