Jasmine rice is named after the scents that evaporate during cooking, reminiscent of the floral scent of jasmine. This type of rice has a long-grain and is often used as a substitute for basmati rice.

Suggested use:

Rinse thoroughly before cooking.
Cook for 10-15 minutes in water to rice ratio of 2:1.
