Range of Probios gluten-free grains are a valuable foundation for preparing many recipes. Quinoa (Chenopodium quinoa) is not a true grain, but a pseudo-grain or herbaceous plant. It was grown 5000 years ago in the Andes, where it is still the staple food today. The Incas worshipped quinoa as a holy plant called "the mother of all the seeds." Its nutritional characteristics make it an excellent source of protein and fibre.
