A crispy and unconventional dish prepared with an unjustifiably neglected cauliflower will instantly change your mind about this valuable vegetable.

Only one cup of cauliflower is loaded with needed nutrients, vitamins and minerals. In fact, 73% of our recommended daily intake of vitamin C is stored in cauliflower. If you suffer from digestion disorders, you could also consider adding cauliflower to your diet. Glucosinolates are also great at protecting the stomach lining, preventing bowel leakage, and helping to detoxify the liver so that your body absorbs more of the nutrients you eat.

Enough reasons to make cauliflower steaks that even meat lover will approve!

Instructions:

  1. Remove the outer leaves of the cauliflower and slice them into thick slices. 
  2. Blanch them briefly and cover with marinade.
  3. Coat their tops with a bread crumb mixture.
  4. Bake at 200 degrees for 35-40 minutes.
  5. Serve with desired sauce or condiment.

We recommend diluted tahini paste sauce to which you have added a little yoghurt or sour cream sauce to which chives have been added.
