Each capsule contains 500 mg of pure krill oil with 125 mg of omega-3 fatty acids, of which 85 mg are EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid) and 40 mg (docosahexaenoic DHA).

Krill oil is derived from the Antarctic crab crust (Euphausia superba). These tiny crabs like shrimp live in big groups. Krill oil contains high quality omega-3 fatty acids. These omega-3 fatty acids are largely linked to phospholipids, which makes them particularly useful for the human body. Krill oil has a natural red color due to astaxanthin, which belongs to the group of carotenoids.
