There is no such thing as a healthy cake made entirely from natural ingredients and without refined sugar that is on top of that delicious?! Think again! This walnut cake with cocoa powder and eggs contains only natural fruit sugar from dates and is also flourless. Since we are perfectly fine without it!

It can't get tastier and more chocolatey than this... And easier too!

After only 15 minutes of date soaking, you are already halfway to the finished cake that will delight both young and old.

Instructions:

  1. Soak dates in warm water for about 15 minutes to soften them, then drain them and together with all the other ingredients for the biscuit, pulse them in a blender until smooth.
  2. Transfer the mixture to a cake pan and bake for about 30 minutes at 180 degrees.
  3. Melt the chocolate and oil and pour over the chilled sponge cake.
  4. Decorate with walnuts.
