Kefir Starter Culture - Organic 3x5g My.Yo

Kefir is a drink with a slight yeast taste. The production of kefir has a long tradition in its regions of origin, Tibet and the Caucasus. Kefir is also known there as a drink of the 100 year olds due to its vitalising effect. 

The fully matured My.Yo Kefir contains millions of active cultures (Lactobacillus acidophilus). It's nice when you can enrich your kefir with these little helpers.

Suggested use:

One bag of kefir starter is required for the preparation of 1 liter of LACTO PRO® kefir drink. The kefir can be used up to 4 times, so one pack is sufficient for up to 15 liters of kefir milk (3 pack) or 30 liters (6 pack). Suitable for cow's milk (pasteurized, UHT milk, boiled direct milk, lactose-free milk) and soy milk. The kefir can be kept in the refrigerator for up to 10 days.

Ingredients:

Organic maltodextrin (at least 95%), from controlled organic cultivation, strains of Lactococcus lactis species, Leuconostoc species, Streptococcus Thermophilus, Kluyveromyces marxianus and probiotic LA-5®

Maturing time: 

24 hours at about 30°C
