Nutrigold rice flour is obtained from finely milled whole grain rice kernels that serves as an excellent alternative to other flours.

This type of gluten free flour is often considered an easier digested substitute for wheat flour. Due to its ability to absorb more liquid when used in cooking and baking applications, this type of flour provides a slightly different final result.

Some of the other praiseworthy features of this products are:

• no added sugar and salt
• rich source of carbohydrates

It works great as a thickener in various sauces, giving them a perfect texture. Its mild and almost neutral aroma goes perfectly with sweet and savoury recipes. In addition, it can serve as a base for homemade pudding or diet pasta of your choice and can be used to prepare baby porridge.

Suggested use:

Rice flour binds well, so it is used in various sauces and fritters as a binder and in creams, puddings and delicate cakes, for making pasta (rice noodles), as a food supplement for infants and children. It has a rougher and grainy structure and it is advisable to "smooth" it before using it in doughs. We recommend heating flour with the required liquid before use and adding other ingredients in a cool mixture in order to break down the coarse texture.
