Ume Su is revered from centuries ago as one of the finest sauces when it comes to Asian cuisine. Characterized by distinctive flavour for which Umeboshi apricots are responsible.
Arche Ume Su vinegar is formed during the lactic acid fermentation of organic umeboshi apricots. Harvested apricots are soaked in sea salt, sun-dried and finally fermented in cedar wood barrels wrapped with shiso leaves, resulting in the finest Ume Su characterized by an unparalleled flavour that will enrich various dishes.
The fluttering aromas of the organic Arche Ume Su sauce with its sweet and sour taste with decent salty notes will go well with a variety of vegetable dishes, salads, spreads and sauces. In addition, this vegan-friendly sauce may be used as an alternative to commonly used vinegar.
