Fill your home with the holiday scent of carob and apple bundt cake

Carob and apples. Are there better ingredients to announce the winter season and the arrival of the holidays?

We most often associate bundt cake with the holidays, but since we’ve already stepped thick in the autumn it would be good to try out how it works with classic seasonal foods like apples.

They will give the cake special juiciness, and the carob!? Mmmm ... carob will fill the whole kitchen with a smell and give the bundt cake a real sweet note. These days we really like the interesting carob, which with its sweet taste often replaces chocolate in various desserts.

Timeless bundt cake is always a good idea, and this juicy carob and apple is one of those fragrant ones that deserve to be baked even by the most amateur confectioners. In a slightly healthier form with much better flavours, this bundt cake is ready to conquer the winter months!

Instructions:

1. Vigorously whisk eggs and sugar.
2. In a separate mixing bowl, combine dry ingredients (carob, flour, baking powder, salt and cinnamon).
3. In a bowl with eggs and sugar, add oil, vanilla, rum and grated apples and whisk until well combined.
4. With a hand mixer or whisk combine dry and wet ingredients. 
5. Grease and dust bundt cake pan with flour. Pour the mixture into a prepared bundt cake pan and bake for about 50 min at 180 degrees. (You may test with a toothpick. It should come out clean).
6. Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool before removing it from the cake pan.
7. Sprinkle with icing sugar.
