Turmeric is an ancient spice from a flowering plant with a root-like stem that looks like ginger. Known for its vibrant golden colour, whose intense pigment has been used to dye textile. Turmeric is nowadays mostly used as a natural food colouring and a staple spice in Middle Eastern and Southeast Asian cuisine, especially in curries. 

Nutrigold organic turmeric powder is of excellent quality and has not been treated with any pesticides and chemicals whatsoever. It is rich in nutrients that have a beneficial effect on the body, and its bright golden colour and warm, soothing aroma will enrich every dish. Suggested use:

Mostly used for spicing up and adding natural colour to all sorts of food. Since turmeric has an intense flavour, one teaspoon added is usually enough to enhance the flavour of smoothies, soups, baked goods and other recipes.
It is recommended to add turmeric to dishes just before serving as heat can reduce its potency and nutritional value.

Warning:

May contain traces of gluten (from spelt and oats), nuts, sesame and peanuts. 
Recommended daily doses should not be exceeded.  
Individuals with gallstones and kidney stones should consult with a healthcare professional before use.
