Amorphophallus Konjac Flour (Glucomannan) 100g Naturganik

Code: 004486

Amorphophallus konjac is an exotic Asian plant with elongated central stems and large leaves. Flour is produced by grinding the roots of a plant. It has long been widely used in Asian cuisine to improve the texture of many foods.

Konjac flour has very low energy and carbohydrate content, which makes it also recommended for dieters and diabetics. It is rich in water-soluble dietary fibre, which makes it swell in the gut and increases the feeling of fullness. But for this, it is essential to consume the right amount of liquid in addition to the cognac flour, because that is the only way you can exert this beneficial effect.

Suggested use:

Due to its very good water absorption capacity, konjac flour can easily thicken cream soups, vegetables, sauces and puddings with a very small amount.  May be used as a gelatin and egg substitute.

If used for baking, pay attention to the exact dosage, as our dough can dry out easily.
