Durum wheat can be germinated and used in 2 different ways. It can be harvested after 2-3 days when sprouts usually occur or after about 14 days as a wheatgrass from which is easy to extract well known wheatgrass juice.

Suggested use:

Soak in water for 8 hours. Rinse them and arrange on the appropriate surface like sprouter tray or sprouting jar allowing seed to increase their volume at least 4 times. Germination takes between 3 to 14 days after wihich they can be consumed immediately or stored in the refrigerator for 1-2 weeks.
