Leek sprouts belong to Liliaceae family and are much easier and faster to digest than the mature vegetable thanks to the presence of chlorophyll that is produced in the germination phase. Leek sprouts have a long germination time. First sprouts appear after one week and complete germination takes place after about two weeks. To facilitate and accelerate the growth it is advisable to place the seeds in a warm place during soaking period and in the first two days of germination. 

Suggested use:

Soak in water for 10 hours. Rinse them and arrange on the appropriate surface like sprouter tray or sprouting jar allowing seed to increase their volume at least 4 times. Germination takes between 10 to 14 days after wihich they can be consumed immediately or stored in the refrigerator for 1-2 weeks.
