The Christmas table wouldn't be complete without these crispy biscuits that stand the test of time. Our Bruna made a healthier version, still preserving rich aromas of almond and lemon zest. It is necessary to emphasize the importance of choosing lemons from organic agriculture because this recipe contains the part of the fruit that is most exposed to the possible use of pesticides.

Instructions:

  1. Combine all ingredients and knead the dough by hand. 
  2. Wrap dough in a cling film and let cool in a refrigerator for one hour.
  3. Shape the balls with hands and gently press each one. (the edge of the wooden cooking spoon will do the trick)
  4. Bake for roughly 15 minutes at 180°C.
  5. Fill dents with jam or marmalade and enjoy!
